LARGE BATCH Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies
Makes 8 dozen!!
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1-1/2 cup white sugar
- 1-1/2 cup packed light brown sugar
- 4 eggs
- 2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1-1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 5-1/2 cups rolled oats
- 2 cups chocolate chips
Directions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.
- In large bowl, cream together butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy. In a separate bowl stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. Gradually beat flour mixture into butter mixture. Stir in oats and chocolate chips. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
- Bake 8 to 10 minutes in the preheated oven, or until golden around the edges. Cool slightly, remove from sheet to wire rack. Cool completely. Store in an air tight container.
